Many of the changes in this update are small but we do have some new information to share in some chapters.

The Office 365 for IT Pros eBook team has released the March 2024 update for the only eBook covering the Microsoft 365 ecosystem that’s updated monthly. February 2024 saw many different issues that impacted the content of the book, including the retirement of Viva Topics and some annoying PowerShell bugs. It’s just the kind of change that keeps us busy updating the book month after month.

While Microsoft has become obsessed with AI and Copilots, we’ve stayed focused on getting real work done with the tools available to most Microsoft 365 tenants. The September 2023 update for the Office 365 for IT Pros eBook (monthly update #99) is available for subscribers to download. Details of the update are available in our change log. However, sometimes the change log doesn’t tell the full story about the updates we make to content. A chapter author might forget about a change they make, or maybe we rewrite something and don’t mention it. The point is that the book is in a state of constant change to keep up with the updates Microsoft ships across the Microsoft 365/Office 365 ecosystem.
Monthly update #98 is available for the Office 365 for IT Pros eBook. Subscribers can download the updated files from Gumroad.com (PDF/EPUB) or Amazon (Kindle). Lots happened during July, some of which like Microsoft 365 Copilot and the Microsoft 365 Archive and Backup products, can’t be covered in the book until the software appears in public preview. But that’s the great thing about a book like Office 365 for IT Pros. Because we update the entire book every month, we can track and report on new solutions as they appear and we gain experience with them.
The Tenth edition of Office 365 for IT Pros, the only always up-to-date eBook covering Microsoft 365 Office services is now available for EPUB/PDF and Kindle. Existing subscribers for the EPUB/PDF version can upgrade to the 2024 edition for a low cost (and should have an email to tell them how). The new book is based on the 2023 edition but is completely revised and updated with changes and new material.

March saw many important Microsoft announcements about technology that will affect how Microsoft 365 tenants work in the future, but there’s lots of changes happening now that we need to cover. No other eBook (or printed book) attempts to update as often as we do, which means that our content is the most up-to-date available to read about Office 365 and associated technologies. That’s a nice position to be in.
Office 365 for IT Pros is the only book that is continuously updated to track progress of Microsoft’s Cloud Office service. The January 2020 update is now available for subscribers to download from Gumroad.com or Amazon. Fifteen out of 24 chapters are updated in this release.
